David Mitchell

Lead Pastor

David started at Connect Church in May 2018.  He loves getting to know people and equipping the church for discipleship and mission. He serves alongside his wife Agnes, a native Scot, who is studying part-time towards a Gaelic teaching degree.

David and Agnes worked in youth and pastoral ministry in David’s hometown in Canada for fifteen years until 2015, when they sensed a call from God to Scotland.  Since coming, they have served churches in the Central Belt and the Highlands and Islands of Scotland.

David and Agnes married in 2000 and have four children.   The Mitchells have a dog and love music, reading, walking, and ice cream.
